Intermediate / advanced custom workshops

Level One Workshop: 3 one- hour sessions including:
Aristotle 101: How to think about your audience
How to distill & define the purpose of your speech or presentation
How to organize your material for maximum focus and connection
How to write for the ear and the people, rather than for the page
Visuals 101: Using images to make your case and connect, rather than to overwhelm your audience with data
How to practice, refine, and own your speech, presentation, or meeting, slowing down and finding your authentic voice
1:1 follow-up assistance for meeting and presentation prep will be generously available after the sessions
Notes / Options: every effort is made to create exercises based on participants’ upcoming presentations, rather than adding outside / additional / abstract exercises.
Level Two Workshops: 5 one-hour sessions, including:
Al Level One features, plus:
Additional group exercises and group evaluation aimed at fosterering individual and team rentention of writing and performance criteria
Homework and additional one-to-one writing / rewriting of upcoming meetings and presentation
Extended performance coaching during exercises & real-life meeting prep
Visuals 102: exploring the use of motifs + visual hierarchy to tell a memorable, persuasive story - with fewer slides and less data
Continued writing and rehearsal assistance for meeting and presentation prep will be generously available after the sessions
Custom Workshops
Most of my workshops are in some form custom-built for clients’ needs and busy schedules.
Some are made to fit a half-day rubric;
Others are conducted over two days, with large group sessions alternating with smaller, breakout sessions.
Others are scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes for large groups of 15 or more, with smaller, breakout groups sessions of an hour in between.
I have never conducted a workshop where 1 or more participants couldn’t make it and needed to have 1:1 or small-group catch up sessions during or after the main group sessions.
Some workshops are designed to help a team write speeches to deliver at an offsite or anual meetingor other event.
Others are focused around crafting a particular “change management narrative.”
In all cases, every effort will be made to tailor each workshop to be the most effective, efficient, pleasurable and transformative educational experience your team has experienced.
